DR. THANHAUS, a brilliant but stubborn scientist, strongly believes that there is a connection between spirituality and science. Apparently his research reveals a link between Near Death experiences and Lucid Dreaming. In order to prove his theory, he forces his son MAXIMILIAN to a risky experiment at the threshold of death. He connects themselves to a modified life-support machine, which is programmed to stop the heart under controlled conditions and also can perform a recovery procedure in time. But when Thanhaus awakens, his son has fallen into coma. The doctor himself is suffering from strange perception disorders and memorizes things only his son could know. His soul is slowly transforming into something terrifying. He must bring back his son before his personality is taken over.
